The Seidel Moden company was founded over 60 years ago by Gottfried Seidel. Initially the focus of the company was the production of dresses and blouses . In addition to the women's fashion they manufactured themselves, a small selection of purchased women's clothing was offered. The company was then taken over in the 1980s by his son Frank Seidel and his wife Dagmar, and the restructuring from a manufacturer to the current fashion retailer was initiated. Little by little, his twins Sandra and Tanja and his youngest daughter Anke joined the family business . In addition to the main store in Weidenberg , near the festival city of Bayreuth , further branches were opened. The current branches are in Bad Berneck in the Fichtelgebirge , in Zirndorf and in Isny-Neutrauchburg .
With the start of the corona pandemic, everything changed. From the company, which had previously only been active in stationary fashion retail, online retail was the only alternative in these difficult times to maintain a presence on the market. At first - to be honest - out of sheer desperation and moderate success and now, after our ambition was awakened, with heart and passion. New to the team is Tanja's daughter Alina, who focuses on our online shop and social media . As a small, owner-managed fashion retailer, we may not have the amount of outfits and marketing budget of the big players, but our motto here is: "Quality over quantity" or " Small but fine" . We do not work with any external fashion buyers or agencies because purchasing our women's fashion and a select selection of men's fashion is still a "family affair" .
